Beautiful Basics
Tallow & Grape seed Oil

The Beautiful Basics are the foundation of all our soaps and butters: Grass-fed, free-range Tallow and Grape seed Oil. Tallow is a close cousin of our skin's natural sebum. It absorbs easily, doesn't block pores and provides deep moisture, all day. It can improve skin health, tone and appearance over time. In soap, it is a gentle cleanser that doesn't strip skin. Grape seed oil brings slip to the fat, aiding absorption amongst other incredible skin-care benefits.

Kraalbos
Galenia Africana

The old people say Kraalbos is 'gold' for skincare. She's anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. She's a lot! So you've got to work respectfully with this potent healer. Lucky for us, she enjoys sharing her medicine and grows abundantly here in our home. She can assist with the treatment of skin infections, rashes, psoriasis, ringworm, and helps wound healing. On the scalp she helps to clear dandruff and lice. We love her for softening old scars and blemishes.

Rose Geranium
Pelargonium Graveolens

This is a sweet hearted plant, jinne. When we feel stressed, anxious or wish to bring calm to our space this generous girl is our go-to. Her approach is gentle while going in deep on repair work and infections.

She has been said to treat acne breakouts, minor abrasions, eczema, and dermatitis. In bath salts, she soothes sore muscles and reduces swelling. As a tea she can cool hot flushes and soften grumpiness. We thank her for her sweet blessings.

Grape seed oil is our carrier oil. It provides absorbing slip to our soaps and body butters.

There are no synthetic colourants or scents in our products. Colour and fragrance intensity is determined by the plants.

Although we are building up a steady product supply, we are still a small team working with limited resource on Mother Nature's production schedule. We appreciate orders with spacious timelines.
