Each set contains 6 soaps, 1 x 250ml body butter, 1 x lip balm, 1 x loose leaf herbs, 1 x incense wand.

Beautiful Basics
Tallow & Grape seed Oil

All the yummy Fats and Oils that our skins love. The Beautiful Basics are the foundation of all our soaps and butters: Organic Tallow and Grape seed Oil. Tallow contains Type I & III collagen, gelatine, and essential amino acids. It is deeply nourishing and retains moisture all day. In soap, it is a gentle cleanser and does not dry out the skin after a cleanse. Grape seed oil brings slip to the fat, helps absorption and is packed with Omega 6 which amongst other incredible skin-care benefits protects against the bacteria that blocks pores.

Kraalbos
Galenia Africana

The old people say Kraalbos is 'gold' for skincare. She's anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. She's a lot! So you've got to work respectfully with this powerful healer. Lucky for us, she enjoys sharing her medicine and grows abundantly here in our home. She treats skin infections, rashes, psoriasis, ringworm, venereal sores, and helps wound healing. On the scalp she clears dandruff and lice. We love her for softening old scars, marks and spots.

Rose Geranium
Pelargonium Graveolens

This is a sweet hearted plant, jinne. Whenever we feel stressed, anxious or simply want to bring calm to our space before a process this generous girl is our go-to. Her approach is gentle while going in deep on bacterial and fungal infections. She has been known to treat acne breakouts, minor abrasions, eczema, and dermatitis.

In bath salts, she soothes sore muscles and reduces swelling. As a tea she cools menopausal hot flushes and softens the grumpiness. We thank her for her sweet blessings.

We work with what are considered 'weeds' but carry medicine. Dandelions and nettles have a place in our hearts, shame.

Tallow is the most sustainable and accessible fat in our natural environment. It is full of all the fats our skins love.

Grape seed oil is our preferred carrier oil. Rich in Vitamin E and Omega 6, it provides absorbing slip to our soaps and body butters.

We do not add any colourants or synthetic aromas to our products. Fragrance is as subtle or pungent as the plants can produce.
