Georgia 'Joy' Claasens
Our eldest daughter. Georgia has been with Beauty School since we started walking together. She is remarkably creative, with a gift for sensory work and colours. She never misses a chance to learn something new or to have a good laugh.
Our name 'Beauty School' came through Georgia.
Hadley-Ann Adams (Annie)
Annie made the dream of Beauty School a reality by seizing the opportunity to make her own dreams come true. She is an inspiration to us, her children and her community.
Alongside Beauty School she is also studying a 'Business Ventures Skills program.
Gina's Natural Garden
Gina Claasens, Herbalist and Elder.
Ouma Gina has been walking this land for as long as she can remember. First with her Mother, her primary teacher of the plants. Now, with her grandchildren. She wears this landscape like her fingerprints, and when it comes to the plants she makes sure we know she is the 'Chief explanationist!' :)
You can meet Gina at the weekend market with her fresh produce, consult with her on gardening, or ask her to take you on a walk amongst the plants of this Klein Karoo land.
Gina runs her own business "Gina's Natural Garden' and can be contacted directly on 079 280 7747 for walks, consultation or fresh produce.
